PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Job Summary
No experience required, on-the-job training.

Production assistance to join our production workshop, handling daily factory operations, material handling, and basic metal finishing tasks with opportunities for skill development into a specialized Sheet Metal Operator role.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw metal sheets, parts, and finished products safely to support production flow
• Maintain workshop inventory by organizing tools and ensuring proper storage of raw materials
• Perform manual grinding, deburring, and polishing of metal components to remove sharp edges and ensure quality
• Keep the production floor, machinery areas, and storage bays clean and safe to maintain a hazard-free environment
• Assist senior fabricators and machine operators with daily assembly tasks to support efficient operations
• Follow workshop safety rules and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly to prevent accidents
• Communicate effectively to understand and follow internal job instructions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering workshops, or construction environments to enhance job performance
• Fresh school leavers are welcome to apply and learn on the job

Other Information

• Work Hours: Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Sat: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Overtime (OT): Ample overtime opportunities available (paid at 1.5x basic rate)
