Project & WSH Coordinator

Job Summary

The Project & WSH Coordinator is responsible for coordinating project documentation, site administration, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements. The role ensures timely submission of project documents, compliance with safety regulations, and effective communication between clients, consultants, main contractors, and site personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Prepare, compile, and submit project documents for approval, including Method Statements (MS), shop drawings, material submissions, and work schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors on project requirements and documentation.
• Monitor submission status and follow up on approvals and revisions.
• Maintain proper filing and records of project correspondence and documents.
• Assist Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, and site coordination.
• Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes when required.

Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)

• Prepare and submit Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Permit-to-Work (PTW), and other safety-related documents.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH regulations, company safety policies, and client requirements.
• Conduct site safety inspections and monitor implementation of safety measures.
• Coordinate safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and safety inductions.
• Maintain safety records, incident reports, training records, and inspection reports.
• Liaise with WSH Officers, clients, and authorities on safety matters.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain project and safety documentation in an organized manner.
• Track workers' certifications, training records, and site access requirements.
• Prepare reports and updates for management as required.
• Support procurement and coordination of project-related materials and resources.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Building, Construction Management, Safety, or related field.
• Experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination is preferred.
• Knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and construction safety requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• WSH Coordinator Certificate (Singapore).
• Experience in preparing MS, RA, SWP, and permit applications.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and documentation procedures.

This role serves as a key link between project execution and workplace safety compliance, ensuring projects are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
