Project Coordinator/ Assistant Project Engineer

Job Description

Project Coordination:

• Coordinate communication among the main contractor, sub-contractor,supplier, and drafter engineer.
• Assist Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, and dailycoordination

Technical Support & Drawing Control:

• Liaise with the main contractor's engineer and drafter for the drawingissue
• Review and study related drawings before starting work, and ensure shopdrawings comply with the construction drawings and specifications.

Site Coordination:

• Attend site coordination/progress meeting.
• Track material delivery to avoid delays
• Monitor project progress and assist in resolving coordination andtechnical issues.
• Ensurecompliance with quality and safety standards

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering,Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in structural steel fabrication, steelerection, or construction projects.
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and installation processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and shop drawings.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-pacedenvironment.
