Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Project Engineer to support the successful planning, coordination, supervision, and execution of construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, clients, and relevant authorities to ensure construction activities are completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in the day-to-day management, coordination, and execution of construction site activities, including supervising and monitoring the site workforce and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Coordinate and liaise with local authorities, clients’ representatives, consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate effective project communication and site coordination.
• Review, monitor, and ensure all construction works, engineering plans, and site activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, engineering challenges, and on-site construction problems to minimise project delays and ensure smooth site operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction, Building, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry or building construction environment.
• Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
• Meticulous, responsible, and detail-oriented with good organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and perform effectively under tight project schedules and deadlines.
• Candidates who are able to commence work at short notice will have an advantage.
