Project Engineer

Job Description

• Oversee and maintain all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems in the facility.
• Supervise and guide the M&E team in daily operations and maintenance works.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct site inspections for M&E and facilities works.
• Ensure preventive maintenance, projects, and SOPs are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Troubleshoot system faults and provide effective, sustainable, and cost-efficient solutions.
• Prepare accurate reports, documentation, and maintenance records.
• Manage site operations, manpower deployment, and workflow planning.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Liaise with vendors and technical teams to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or M&E systems.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in building services or facilities management will be an advantage.
• Relevant BCA Academy qualifications will be a strong advantage, such as:
  Specialist Diploma / Advanced Certificate in M&E Coordination
  Supervision & Coordination in M&E Works
  Green Building Operations & Maintenance
  Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Green Building Technology)
