Project Engineer

Job Summary

Lead and supervise construction teams to deliver piping and equipment installation projects on schedule. Manage project risks, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements for Singapore PUB projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction teams to establish and achieve construction milestones for Singapore PUB projects
• Plan and implement piping and equipment installation projects to meet operational timelines
• Manage construction activities to ensure smooth and timely project progress
• Execute work plans and actively participate in project meetings to align team efforts
• Diagnose and resolve design and site issues during construction phases
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to project specifications and requirements
• Identify and ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory project requirements
• Coordinate and sequence subcontractor tasks to optimize workflow and minimize delays
• Assess project and stakeholder risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate impact
• Respond promptly to work delays, emergencies, and unforeseen problems to maintain project momentum
• Communicate clearly with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors through daily construction oversight to align expectations and schedules

Required competencies and certifications

• Singapore PUB project experience (mandatory)
