Roles & Responsibilities
· Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
· Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
· Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
· Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
· Review project plans, drawings, and specifications, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
· Coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
· Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and site records.
· Identify and mitigate potential project risks, implementing appropriate measures to ensure project success.
· Review and prepare detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.
· Control and manage resources, including site progress, manpower mobilisation and equipment deployment.
· Plan daily, weekly and monthly work for each section and liaise on work tasks and construction methods to be used with the foreman and workers.
· Check quality and quantity of subcontract work done.
Requirements:
· Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field .
Demonstrated experience in construction site engineering min 3 Years.
· Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
· Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
· Proficiency in relevant software and tools (AutoCAD, MS Office, etc.).
