Project Engineer (Construction)

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Alternate Saturday (5.25-day work week)

Job Summary

Join a growing engineering team and play a key role in managing project execution from planning through completion. This role offers exposure to project coordination, site management, stakeholder engagement, and quality control while supporting successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering and construction projects.

• Support the Project Manager in establishing project objectives, schedules, and performance standards.

• Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents.

• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and site activities.

• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to schedule and budget.

• Prepare project reports, documentation, and progress updates.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

• Manage project compliance, quality assurance, and quality control requirements.

• Track project costs, schedules, and resource utilisation.

• Support testing, inspections, and commissioning activities where required.

• Identify project risks and propose solutions to maintain project performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of relevant project engineering or project coordination experience.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and tender documents.

• Comfortable working in both office and site environments.

• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
