Project Engineer (MEP)

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Design & Technical Coordination

• Review and coordinate MEP design drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Work closely with internal design teams, consultants, and BIM teams to resolve technical issues and ensure design intent is maintained.
• Identify potential design conflicts and propose engineering solutions to support constructability.

Project & Site Management

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on site.
• Monitor MEP construction progress and ensure works are completed according to project schedule and approved drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of MEP works.

Data Centre Infrastructure

• Support the implementation of critical MEP systems including power distribution, UPS, generators, cooling systems, and fire protection systems.
• Ensure all MEP installations meet data centre operational requirements and reliability standards.
• Assist in system integration and coordination of critical infrastructure for mission-critical facilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
    
2. Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in MEP engineering within the construction industry.
   
   
3. Familiarity with MEP systems including HVAC, electrical power distribution, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
   
   
4. Ability to review technical drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
   
   
5. Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
