Project Engineering

Job Summary

Design, develop, and test engineering systems and products while managing projects and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Prepare technical documentation to support collaboration and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed blueprints, models, or code to develop new engineering systems and products.
• Build prototypes and conduct rigorous performance tests simulating real-world conditions to validate designs.
• Develop project timelines, estimate costs, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Enforce compliance with industry standards, safety codes, and regulatory requirements throughout engineering processes.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, manuals, and specifications to facilitate clear communication with collaborators and stakeholders.

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's degree in a specialized engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) or a directly related field.
• Completion of programs accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC).
• Progression toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, including passing licensing exams and acquiring 3+ years of mentored work experience.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in industry-specific software such as CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation software.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis, conduct feasibility research, and apply data-driven decision-making techniques.
• Strong skills in cross-functional communication, problem-solving, and team leadership to drive project success.
