Project Manager

Job Description

• Overall in-charge for the effective implementation and successful completion of the HDBBTO project.
• Responsible for and supervise the daily management of all aspect of the project including contract, schedule, quality, materials, cost, safety environment and other related aspects.
• Work closely and maintain good working relationship with all stakeholders including clients, architects, consultants, suppliers, workers and sub-contractors. Responsible for the communication and coordination with relevant government departments, owners, consulting companies and other external relations, participate in the government, owners, consulting companies and related technology and progress meetings and form a meeting minutes.
• Prepare, review and submit all detailed programmes, schedule, method statement, technical proposal, risk assessment plans.
• Conduct regular internal, subcontractor, technique and site safety meeting. Ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved plans/drawings and in accordance with contract specifications.
• Oversee each phase of the project from post tender to completion and ensure efficient use of resources and enhance cost effectiveness.
• According to the requirements of the contract department, provide subcontractors confirmation plan, assist in subcontractors’ confirmation, evaluation, coordination, progress payment certification and final account.
• Assist Contract Department to prepare monthly progress claim. Provide necessary information and documents for VO and EOT claims.
• Lead a team of professional and technical staff in planning and execution of day to day operations. Set guideline and provide good leadership with expertise and supervision to the project team.

Job Requirement

• At least Bachelor's degree in building construction, construction management, civil engineering.
• Degree in Civil Engineering. Singapore PE Board recognised Degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years’ experience in managing high rise building projects and complete at least one cycle HDB BTO Project.
• Good experience with HDBBTO project is preferred.
• Be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a proven track record in the construction industry.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with excellent leadership.
• Strong technical competence with problem solving capability.
