We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to oversee renovation projects, manage stakeholders, and lead teams towards successful project delivery.
Job Summary
The Project Manager oversees full project lifecycle from
tender to handover. Responsible for managing budget, schedule, quality, safety,
and client relationships for renovation and A&A projects. Ensures projects
are completed on time, within scope, and according to contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
Lead project planning, scheduling, cost control, and resource allocation.
Prepare master programme, procurement plan, and project budget.
Ensure all site activities are carried out according to approved drawings and
specifications.
2. Site Management & Supervision
Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
Resolve technical issues, design discrepancies, and site constraints.
Review and approve work sequences, method statements, and material selection.
3. Budgeting & Cost Control
Manage project budget and monitor cost against planned spending.
Evaluate and approve quotations, VO (Variation Orders), and progress claims.
Ensure cost efficiency through proper planning and procurement.
4. Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as primary point of contact for clients, consultants, authorities, and
internal teams.
Conduct project meetings and prepare minutes.
Handle client feedback, expectations, and ensure strong working relationships.
5. Documentation & Compliance
Oversee submission of shop drawings, material boards, method statements, and
authority submissions (if required).
Ensure all project documentation is accurate, updated, and properly maintained.
Ensure compliance with BCA, MOM, SCDF, and workplace safety regulations.
6. Team Leadership
Lead Project Coordinators, Supervisors, and site teams.
Monitor staff performance, provide guidance, and ensure efficient teamwork.
Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
7. Handover & Project Closure
Oversee testing & commissioning, defect rectification, and final handover.
Ensure all closing documents are prepared (as-built drawings, O&M manuals,
warranties).
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related
field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in renovation, A&A, or construction projects in
Singapore.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
Proven experience in managing subcontractors and site operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Project, Microsoft Office, and familiar with AutoCAD.
Able to work under pressure and commit to project deadlines.
