Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, coordination, and completion while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities.
• Lead site teams and supervise project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
• Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documentation.
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation measures.
• Attend project meetings and prepare progress reports for management and clients.
• Manage project variations, claims, and documentation.
• Ensure quality standards and client expectations are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the Singapore construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of local construction practices, regulations, and BCA requirements.
• Experience managing residential, commercial, industrial, or A&A projects is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD. Knowledge of BIM is an advantage.
• Familiarity with WSH requirements and quality management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with main contractors.
• Strong contract administration and cost control experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or other relevant certifications will be an advantage.
