Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive guidance to project leaders by reviewing various aspects such as work plans, team allocation, project deadlines, and reconciling planned versus realized hours.
- Monitor project costs monthly or upon invoicing, ensuring accurate prediction of monthly profit percentages based on prior performance.
- Manage variations by maintaining a detailed list for each project, tracking hours spent, advising on appropriate charges, and overseeing invoicing and payment status.
- Collaborate with Project Leaders and the Finance Team to develop and oversee project plans, schedules, performance, fees, and sub-consultant payments.
- Engage directly with clients and key stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations align with project deliverables and client expectations.
- Address overdue invoice payment inquiries promptly, maintain accurate contract documentation, and ensure proper filing within the system.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, utilizing strong project management skills to address critical issues and collaborate with teams to identify solutions.
- Work closely with the Integrated Management System (IMS) team to implement effective project procedures and ensure compliance.
- Occasionally travel for project-related purposes, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to support project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification(s) in project management or related fields preferred, with an understanding of Singaporean business practices.
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing work plans, hours, costs, and profit, tailored to project requirements.
- Proven ability to prioritize and multitask, managing multiple international projects simultaneously.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, identifying and escalating risks while providing solutions.
- Excellent collaboration skills in working with project leaders, finance teams, and clients.
- Effective communication to align deliverables with local contractual obligations.
- Knowledge and/or experience in contract management principles and document filing procedures applicable to projects in Singapore.
- Strong interpersonal skills for engaging effectively in challenging conversations with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated work ethic, ability to meet fast-paced project demands, and work with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving skills within a team environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work flexibly according to company needs.
