Project Manager (A1 Main Contractor)

Our client is an Singapore company in the Construction industry. Due to their current expansion new Projects, they are looking for Project Manager to join their Engineering team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team.

They are located in West Region – easily accessible via various modes of transport.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring completion within schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
• Manage day-to-day project operations, resolving technical, design, and site-related issues with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project activities, including architectural, structural, MEP, and interior fit-out works, ensuring smooth integration across all disciplines.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, identify critical activities, and implement recovery plans where required.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of design drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all submissions, approvals, permits, and regulatory requirements are obtained in accordance with project timelines.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, contract specifications, quality standards, and statutory regulations.
• Manage project resources effectively and oversee project scope, timelines, costs, and change management.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts.
• Monitor project performance through regular reporting, documentation, and progress reviews.
• Oversee construction site operations, ensuring compliance with workplace safety, health, and environmental requirements.
• Support the tendering process by reviewing technical specifications and providing project-related input during tender evaluations.
• Prepare regular project status reports and present updates to management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience within the building and construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, including structural, architectural, and MEP works.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects within tight timelines.
