Project Manager (Semiconductor Systems)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of semiconductor gas system and mechanical installation projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery within schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.

The Project Manager will work closely with customers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee semiconductor gas system and mechanical installation projects from project award through completion.
• Develop project schedules, resource plans, procurement plans, and project execution strategies.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, budget, manpower allocation, procurement, and overall project performance.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and project documentation.
• Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement effective mitigation plans.
• Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and provide regular updates to management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality project execution.
• Support project commissioning, testing, handover, and project close-out documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics, Project Management, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in semiconductor, industrial gas systems, mechanical engineering, M&E, or process piping projects.
• Experience managing semiconductor fab projects or cleanroom construction projects will be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UHP Gas Systems, Mechanical Systems, Process Piping, or Industrial Utility Systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, project specifications, and construction documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing project schedules, project costs, procurement, and contract administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and project reporting tools.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE), PMP, or equivalent project management certification will be an advantage.
• Experience working with semiconductor manufacturers or engineering contractors.
• Familiarity with local workplace safety regulations and quality management systems.
