About the role

As a Project Manager/Project Engineer at U Guan Construction Pte. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in overseeing and delivering complex construction projects within the Kranji North Region. This full-time position offers the opportunity to apply your project management expertise and engineering skills to drive the successful completion of innovative building developments. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and coordination to on-site supervision and stakeholder management.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation

2. Coordinating and supervising the work of cross-functional teams, including designers, subcontractors, and tradespeople

3. Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed

4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards

5. Collaborating with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to address concerns and achieve project objectives

6. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects

2. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

3. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and implement detailed project plans

4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

6. Thorough understanding of construction regulations, building codes, and safety standards

7. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant tools
