QA Engineer (Supplier) @Woodlands

1. QA Engineer (Supplier) /Up to $5,000

• Conduct audits & validate supplier processes, and ensure comply with IATF 16949 & VDA 6.1
• Assess supplier processes, capabilities & risks, supporting supplier development and improvement.
• Develop scorecards and improvement plans to enhance supplier performance.
• Lead cost-reduction and review with management to analyze & identiy quality trends.
• Submit PPAP and maintain quality databases, analyze root cause & implement corrective actions.
• Assess effectiveness of corrective solutions and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure solid processes to minimize defects & promote lean manufacturing (Six Sigma /Poka-Yoke)
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate quality requirements into product design/manufacturing.
• Coordinate with other plants to ensure quality objectives are aligned.
• Develop inspection plans, test methods, procedures, and conduct quality training for employees.
• Degree in Engineering with 3 years of supplier management.
• Proficient in 8D report, Ishikawa, PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, SPC, Control Plan.
• Ceritifed in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.1 internal auditor.
