QAQC Engineer

Construction Quality Assurance & Quality Control

Primary Roles

1. Monitor QAQC plans, procedures, and system for continuous improvement of work quality, monitoring performance of the system and recommendation changes as and when its required
2. Responsible for implementation of Quality Management System (QMS), develop policies, standards and requirement and ensure compliance
3. Conduct Site inspection, audit processes, documentations, quality management methods

Key Activities

• Support site on day-to-day QAQC matters, preparation of weekly and monthly QAQC reports
• Work closely with site (Managers, Safety & Supervisors) on all ISO and quality matters
• Implement preventive measure, corrective action, review, and comments to ensure that all non-compliance issues are promptly investigated, corrective and preventive action are proposed and
• Maintain QAQC records and ensure all project documentation are kept in compliance with the QMS
• Develop form/ checklist/ flowchart for QAQC activities
• Conduct audit in compliance with the QMS and contribute to system improvement, manage project, audit program
• Conduct Kick off meetings / QA trainings and activities with management team, site in-charge, subcontractors, and safety team
• Plan and organize mock-ups and trade demonstration to ensure compliance to approved method statement and inspection test plan
• Conduct inspections to in-progress / completed works and ensure Works are in accordance with project specification and approved construction drawings
• Raise report of any non-conformances and carry out root cause analysis
• Manage and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvement
• Review, update, and control the distribution of the quality management procedure, quality manual and related procedures for infrastructure, civil and other subcontractors, and divisions
• Generate project specific quality plans for Civil and Infrastructure projects
• Prepare statistical data which show quality trends for management review meeting
• Manage subcontractors to clear defects and achieve required CONQUAS target
• Able to demonstrate implementation, documentation & monitoring experience in the development & application of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001.
• Prepares and implement the project inspection strategy to cover all project phases
• Develop & implement Audit Schedule, participate in internal and external site audits
• Report to Management team on day-to-day project QAQC matters

Requirement:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Min 3 years experience in QAQC/ managerial role in construction
