Job Description

• Position Title: QA/QC Engineer (Building Construction)
• Working Location: Depends on the project
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sat, 8:00 AM -12:00 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Discretionary Bonus + Telephone allowance
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, requirements, and construction drawings to ensure compliance with quality standards and project quality plans.
• Report QA/QC activities and quality concerns to the QMR and Project Manager.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents, including PQP, ITP, checklists, test records, mock-ups, material submissions, reports, drawings, letters, and forms.
• Support ISO, safety, CONQUAS, client, site, cross-project, and internal audits, including follow-up actions and report closure.
• Coordinate quality-control activities with Operations, Design, production, and project teams to ensure efficient implementation.
• Monitor, track, and close NCRs and NCNs.
• Maintain the document-control system and manage the distribution and submission of documents and drawings to relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and surveillance with clients, REs, RTOs, and subcontractors to verify workmanship and compliance.
• Check delivered materials and supporting documents, including test certificates, expiry dates, quality, and quantity, and report any discrepancies.
• Conduct or arrange audits of suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants when required.
• Coordinate with BCA and prepare monthly quality-performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of QA/QC experience in construction or civil-engineering projects.
• Experience in condominium projects is a must.
• Good knowledge of concrete technology and quality-assurance and quality-control procedures.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
