QA/QC Engineer (Factory)

Report to BIM, Project Engineer / DfMA Manager.

• Maintaining Product Quality: Ensure that products manufactured in the factory meet specified quality standards and objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement quality enhancement initiatives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, engineering, and design personnel to align quality control activities with project requirements and objectives. Foster a culture of quality consciousness and teamwork within the factory environment.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformities, corrective actions, and quality performance metrics. Utilize quality management systems and tools to document and track quality-related information.
• Supplier and Vendor Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to assess quality performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Quality Investigations and Problem-Solving: Assist in investigating quality issues, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Utilize problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean principles to address quality challenges and optimize processes.
• Training and Development: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills, knowledge of industry standards, and proficiency in quality assurance and control techniques. Actively contribute to the professional growth and development of team members.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or above in mechanical engineering or related qualification. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in M&E services and DFMA principles. Familiarity with QA/QC processes, tools, and techniques. Knowledge of industry standards related to manufacturing and quality assurance. Knowledge of BIM is considered an added advantage.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Work Schedule: Able to work 5.5 days a week with flexibility as per project requirements.
