QAQC Lead

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of QA/QC function of project for all the discipline such as piping, structure, tankage, HVAC in oil & gas/ building project.
• Review and update QMS.
• Implement the QA/QC management system at site.
• Coordinate with the client’s representative on all quality matters.
• Participate in the quality internal and external audits.
• Review and update ITP as per project specification.
• Assign QA/QC inspector to dedicated project and monitor the inspector performance.
• Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues.
• Root cause analysis on quality related issue and propose the preventive measure action.
• Report any non-conformance (NC) and issue corrective action request (CAR) where necessary.
• Liaise with NDT Company to support project team.
• Audit and manage sub-contractor quality matter.
• Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled handover for final project documentation.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Min. 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in QA/QC and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Possess Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
• Well versed in Universal Standard codes such as ASME / API / AWS / NACE & DSEN.
