Job Description - QS CUM DRAFTER ACMV

Analyse tender documents, drawings and specifications
Prepare tender and supporting documents for submission
Ability to administrate on ACMV / Electrical tender and tendering procedures.
Good strategies, planning and control of all tendering activities.
Prepare and follow up on the Request For Quotations to suppliers / sub-cons in order to ensure tender costing and technical data to be submitted on time.
Take off Bill of Quantities from the ACMV Drawings, Points of Schedules and Architectural drawings.
Collate price comparison, costing summary and technical proposal in order to prepare tender submission.
Study the addendum and / or corrigendum documents and update costing summary with technical proposal accordingly.
Attend site briefing / site meeting / post tender interview when necessary.
Conduct quantity take off and estimate costs
Follow up on any technical clarifications during post-tender stage
Prepare sub-contractor agreement, work order and VO
Monitor project progress and control budget
Collaborate with Project Team to track work progress for claim submission to Main Contractor
Design diagrams, maps and layouts to illustrate workflow
Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team
Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
Collaborate with engineers,project managers and other stakeholders to understand design requirements,address queries, and coordinate drafting activities.
Able to work during nights when required.
