Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer

KEY DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Assurance and Control:

• Assist in the development and implementation of QA/QC procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Monitor and document quality control activities, including non-conformance reports and corrective actions.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with the construction team to ensure all inspection and testing requirements are met.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to verify quality requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of method statements, inspection and test plans and checklists.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and prepare weekly progress reports.
• Ensure all QA/QC documentation is up-to-date and properly filed.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on QA/QC issues and progress.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as contractual obligations.
• Participate in safety and quality audits and implement improvements as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2years of experience in construction quality control or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of construction industry standards and codes.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
