Quantity Surveyor

JobResponsibilities:

• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) for projects.
• Assist in preparation of tender documents and procurement processes.
• Support Senior Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager in cost submissions, budgeting,and contracts documentation.
• Prepare cost estimates, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and assist in cost control and claims management.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, site personnel, and internaldepartments to obtain information for costing and project administration.
• Assist in evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare supplier and subcontractor payment recommendations and related documentation.
• Attend site meetings, progress meetings, and coordination meetings as required.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of contracts, correspondences, and projectrecords.
• Performad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JobRequirements:

1. Possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and PDF software for quantity take-off and measurements.
3. 2 to 5 years of experience in a procurement-related role or construction background preferred.
4. Strong experience in contracts management, claims, and cost control.
5. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
7. Willing to be stationed at project worksites based on project assignments and operational needs.
