Key Responsibilities
Pre-Contract Duties
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets
• Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ)
• Source and evaluate subcontractor quotations
• Assist in tender preparation and submission
• Analyze project specifications and drawings
Post-Contract Duties
• Monitor project costs and cash flow
• Prepare progress claims and payment certifications
• Evaluate variation orders (VO)
• Manage subcontractor claims and payments
• Track project budget and forecast final costs
• Prepare final accounts upon project completion
Contract Administration
• Prepare cost reports for management
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Handle disputes and commercial negotiations
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and site team
Reporting & Coordination
• Review construction contracts
• Attend project meetings
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and clients
• Maintain proper project documentation
Job Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Familiarity with Singapore construction standards
• Strong negotiation skills
