Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

· Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP projects.

· Perform quantity take-offs for materials and labour required for MEP installations Assist in the preparation and submission of tender and contract documents

· Preparation and submission of progress payment claims and variation orders

· Attendance of site meeting and liaise with the cost consultant

· Evaluation and certification of supplier and subcontractor's claims

· Finalization and closing out of project accounts

· Estimation of quantities, evaluation and cost comparison of sub-contractors quotations

· Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout project lifecycle.

· Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in the procurement process.

· Administer and manage contracts related to MEP works, including variations and claims.

· Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

· Identify and assess potential risks to cost and contract issues.

· Responsible for the compliance to safety & occupational health practices to be implemented in the Contracts Section.

Job Requirement:

· Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying

· At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in Singapore M&E Industry

· Good communication and presentation skill.

· Able to work independantly with minimum supervison.
