Quantity Surveyor

Management of renovation/construction projects for residential & commercial (office, retail, F&B, etc)

Job Description:

• Taking off measurement and prepare quotation.
• To source for quotation from specialists/sub-contractors/suppliers, prepare comparison, negotiate, and award contracts.
• To prepare payment response to the subcontractors' monthly claim, monthly progress claim, certify subcontractors' progress payments, prepare variation orders, finalize accounts.
• To administer contracts of all values and ensure that they are completed within budget.
• To ensure proper documentation of all records.
• To review and advise Project Manager on the cost impact for variation of project specifications.
• To monitor and ensure delivery of materials are in accordance with contractual requirements.
• To liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, relevant authorities, and internal departments in resolving project development and technical issues.
• To perform any ad-hoc duties from time to time.
• To handle all other QS related works and assigned duties as required.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma and/or Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Min 3 years working experience in residential, commercial and/or construction projects.
• Possess positive working attitude and good communication skill.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
