QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Description

Quantity measurement, costing and estimation for both pre-contract and post-contract

Track changes to the Design/ Construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly

Procurement responsibilities including preparing tender document or calling for quotation for subcontract packages including evaluation through cost comparison as well as recommendation of awards

Certificate and evaluate progress work done; includes contract administration for any variation or change for both Subcontracts and Main Contracts

Prepare and follow up monthly progress claims in timely manner

Perform other QS-related duties

Requirements

•⁠ ⁠Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent

•⁠ ⁠3 years and above experience as QS in main-con companies

•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in quantity surveying, such as cost estimating software and project management applications.

•⁠ ⁠Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders

•⁠ ⁠Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) is preferred to facilitate effective communication with workers, clients, and subcontractors.
