Job Description - Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

  • Preparation of tender documents, and requests for quotations from different suppliers.
  • Analyze and compare prices from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure all prices quoted are up-to-date and competitive.
  • Ensure all the variation orders are dealt with as efficiently as possible and provide early and accurate cost advice.
  • Preparation of tender documents, and requests for quotation from different suppliers.
  • Monitored and kept track of project progress as well as for the measurement and valuation of variations in the work.
  • Evaluation and certification of sub-contractors progress payment, Variation's Orders (VO), valuing completed work, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Prepare and follow up on monthly progress claims on time.
  • Liaise with project team and project administration.
  • Attending site-show round.
  • Attend tender interview and prepare tender questionnaire reply.


Job Requirement:

  • Education: Degree/ Diploma (Poly) in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in mechanical / electrical construction industry would be preferable.
  • Professional certification as a Quantity Surveyor is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within related industry.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good working attitude and responsible for work
