Responsibilities
- Prepare basic Bills of Quantities (BQ) and assist in cost estimation.
- Generate quotations based on project scope and supplier inputs.
- Draft, review and submit tender documents and quotations.
- Source and liaise with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labour and project expenses.
- Manage contracts, monitor compliance and advise on contractual matters.
- Understand project needs and align procurement accordingly.
- Coordinate with site personnel to ensure materials and logistics ae in place.
- Maintain organized records of quotations, purchases and supplier communications.
- Site support including generating work progress report, maintain organised archives of completed projects for reference, reporting and future planning, etc.
. Track project budgets, recommend cost-saving measures and ensure financial efficiency.
. Handle progress claims, variations, and final accounts with proper documentation.
. Verify completed works, prepare cost reports and update stakeholders.
. Conduct feasibility studies and identify commercial risks.
Requirements
- Prior experience is preferred but not required. On-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret basic project plans or specifications.
- Comfortable working with multicultural teams and vendors.
- Proficiency in Excel and basic documentation tools.
