Job Summary

Manage tender submissions, cost evaluations, and project cost monitoring to ensure budget adherence and timely delivery in construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender submissions, cost estimates, and quantity take-offs to support project bidding and budgeting
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
• Evaluate quotations and prepare detailed cost comparisons to inform decision-making
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to ensure accurate project billing
• Process subcontractor payment certifications to maintain timely payments and compliance
• Handle variation orders (VOs) and final account settlements to manage contract changes and closeouts
• Monitor project costs continuously to ensure budgets are maintained and financial targets met
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management to support project and company objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in the architectural and interior fit-out industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for project documentation and reporting
• Good knowledge of construction costing, contract administration, and project documentation
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills applied to project cost control and supplier management
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines effectively
