Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

An established engineering and construction company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to support tendering, cost management, and commercial administration across industrial and commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and project cost estimates.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and prepare tender enquiries for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Source and evaluate quotations to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Assist in tender submissions, cost analysis, and commercial evaluations.
• Verify variation works, subcontractor claims, and progress payments.
• Monitor project costs, material usage, and budget performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with internal project teams, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and support commercial reporting.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in quantity surveying within M&E, ACMV, or building services projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with tendering, contract administration, cost control, and project documentation.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities within project timelines.
