Quantity Surveyor (Precast/Construction, Central)

Responsibilities: 

• Prepare project cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
• Develop and monitor project budgets to ensure cost control.
• Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and contracts.
• Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations and provide recommendations.
• Negotiate commercial terms with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Manage contract variations, claims, and change orders.
• Conduct progress valuations and certify payments.
• Review and verify contractor and supplier invoices.
• Prepare final accounts and project cost settlements.
• Collaborate with project teams on budget and schedule impacts.
• Resolve contractual disputes, claims, and cost-related issues.
• Negotiate settlements while safeguarding the client's interests.

Requirements: 

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Singapore's building construction industry.
• Experience in tendering for HDB and high-rise building projects.
• Familiar with construction costing, tender documentation, and contract administration.
