Quantity Surveyor (Project QS / Tender QS) / Immediate

Roles & Responsibilities

• Quantity Surveyor (Project QS / Tender QS)
• Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities: (Tender QS and Project QS)

Tender QS:

• Review tender documents and prepare competitive tender submissions, including Bills of Quantities/ Materials (BOQ & BOM).
• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and schedules to develop cost estimates.
• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with the business development and project teams to ensure tender compliance and alignment.
• Identify and mitigate tender risks to maximize project profitability.

Project QS:

• Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow.
• Evaluate and certify progress claims, variations, and final accounts for contractors and suppliers.
• Conduct cost analysis, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimize project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and manage disputes effectively.
• Liaise with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide accurate cost advice and updates.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. (Low Voltage Power Supply System)
• Min. 3-5 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and tender procedures.
• Proficiency in QS software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
