Quantity Surveyor(Fresh Graduate)

Job Description:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, cost comparisons, tender evaluation summaries and project cost reports.
• Carry out quantity take-offs, measurements and basic cost analysis for construction works under supervision.
• Obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, assist in price comparison, clarification and negotiation.
• Support procurement, subcontract administration, subcontractor payment assessment and related documentation.
• Assist in preparing Variation Orders (VO), claims, progress payments, final accounts and other commercial submissions.
• Maintain cost records, contract documents, quotation trackers and project commercial databases.
• Work closely with project, technical, procurement and finance teams to support cost control and contract administration.
• Perform other quantity surveying, commercial and project cost control duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree or Master in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics or other Construction/quantitative-related disciplines.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with willingness to learn construction cost management and contract administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis, reporting tools or cost tracking systems will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work in a project-based environment.
• Prior internship or project experience in cost analysis, procurement, budgeting, construction, engineering, finance, business analysis or data analysis will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
