Rebar & Formwork Supervisor

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise all rebar fixing and formwork activities according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily work activities to ensure project schedules are achieved.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and workers to ensure smooth site operations.
• Inspect reinforcement installation, bar spacing, lap lengths, and concrete cover before concreting.
• Check formwork alignment, dimensions, levels, and stability before concrete placement.
• Ensure all work complies with quality standards, safety regulations, and construction codes.
• Assign daily tasks to workers and monitor productivity and workmanship.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to rebar, formwork, and general construction works.
• Monitor material usage and report shortages or wastage to the site management.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and temporary works.
• Maintain daily site progress reports and work records.
• Enforce housekeeping and ensure the work area is clean and organized.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure workers follow health and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with other trades to avoid work conflicts and project delays.
• Assist the Project Manager or Site Engineer in achieving project milestones and completing works on time.
