Resident Engineer

Job Description:

- Monitor and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes of practice.

- Conduct site inspections to verify that works are carried out according to approved method statements and safety standards.

- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve site issues effectively.

- Review and verify construction quality, materials, and artistry to ensure adherence to project requirements.

- Prepare site reports, inspection checklists, and documentation of project progress.

- Ensure that safety regulations and environmental protection measures are strictly followed.

- Attend site meetings, inspections, and quality audits as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Registered Resident Engineer with Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).

• Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience in civil and structural projects, especially condominium projects and piling.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and structural principles.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently
