Job Summary

The Resident Engineer (Civil & Structural) will lead site supervision to ensure civil, structural, and M&E works comply with drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards, driving quality and safety in construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead site supervision duties under the Building Control Act to ensure regulatory compliance
• Verify that civil, structural, and M&E works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications
• Supervise concreting, pavement, and drainage construction activities to meet quality standards
• Conduct inspections on concrete compaction and curing processes to ensure structural integrity
• Inspect formwork striking, re-propping, and prop removal to maintain construction safety and quality
• Assess quality and proper erection of precast components to meet project requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore
• Resident Engineer (Civil & Structural) qualification
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience as a civil and structural engineer
