Resident Engineer (C&S)

Project Location: Healthcare project in Miltonia Close area

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulations and client's requirements.
• Report to C&S QP and work closely with regulatory authorities and contractors to provide supervision and leadership onsite, not only to resolve site issues but also to ensure the project's timely completion.
• Implement and sustain the site supervision quality& safety assurance system.
• Carry out supervision of structural and geotechnical works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's on-siteworks.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings and contract documents in the work.
• Be familiar with, check and review all method statement and drawings (including authority submission and shop drawings).
• Carry out regular site checks on contractors and ensure compliance with health and work safety per MOM regulations.
• Attend site progress, technical, client-consultant, variation, coordination meetings etc., with the project team and client.
• Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as-built submissions etc., are well managed.
• Tentative commencement in August 2026

Requirements:

• Possess a recognized Civil/Structural Engineering degree acceptable for registration with IES/ACES.
• Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Engineer Practicing Certificate.
• Minimum five (5) years of Resident Engineer work experience supervising multi-storey buildings, with strong knowledge of bored piling, precast structures, structural steel and ERSS (earth retaining stabilizing structure).
• Experience in healthcare/residential projects will be an added advantage.
• Good supervisory and leadership skills, with experience leading a team of Resident Technical Officers.
• A good team player with effective communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
