Resident Engineer - Coastal Engineering

Job Description

1. Assist QP(S) in the site supervision of civil/structural works and geotechnical works.

2. Manage a team of Site Supervisors (SS) on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and Client's requirements.

3. Work closely with Project Management Team, QP(S), QP(D), Client, Contractors and local Authorities to ensure successful and timely completion of the project.

4. Attend regular site progress meetings to resolve site issues.

5. Carry out regular site inspections on Contractor’s works to ensure site supervision quality & site safety.

6. Review Contractor’s submissions to ensure compliance with regulatory and Client's requirements.

7. Ensure Contractor’s works is carried out in accordance with approved designs and drawings.

8. Identify any non-conformance of Contractor's works on site and to follow up with Contractor to ensure rectification of non-conformance.

9. Ensure proper and up-to-date site documentation for on-going and completed works.

Requirement

1. Registered with IES/ ACES.

2. Conversant with BCA Regulations, maintenance of systematic site records, government contract documents and meet BCA reporting requirements.
