RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER

·       Carry out full-time site supervision of civil andstructural works.

·       Ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specificationsand LTA requirements.

·       Witness inspections and testing of constructionmaterials.

·       Supervise piling, excavation, reinforced concrete works,precast installation and structural steel works.

·       Monitor roadworks, drainage, utility diversion and trafficdiversion works.

·       Verify contractor's setting out and construction quality.

·       Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)requirements.

·       Record daily site activities and prepare inspectionreports.

·       Report defects, NCRs and quality issues to the ResidentEngineer.

·       Attend coordination and site meetings.

·       Assist in monitoring construction progress andworkmanship.

·       Ensure works comply with approved method statements andrisk assessments.
