RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise respective project activities on site and assist consultant
• Ensure the works are carried out according to BCA approved drawing or consultant approved drawing
• To attend all the site meetings with consultant team
• To attend the inspection with contractor and record all the comments during the inspection
• Site records, daily reports, and other documentation to be maintained regularly
• To review and assess the works are carried out according to approved method of statement
• Inspect and witness all the material testing and maintain the records
• Identify the non-compliance on site and highlight the issue to respective person in-charge of the project
• Monitor the progress and report to consultant if delay on project
• Ensure the contractors are complying with workplace safety and health as per MOM regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Resident Technical Officer Certificate accredited by IES / ACES
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office and report preparation
