Resident Technical Officer (C&S)

Job Summary

Supervise infrastructure works with a focus on quality and safety, applying civil/structural engineering expertise and adhering to project timelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee infrastructure construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards
• Coordinate with project teams to monitor progress and resolve construction issues effectively
• Apply knowledge of civil/structural engineering principles to supervise construction quality and methods
• Manage shift work schedules to maintain continuous site operations and meet project deadlines
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation requirements during construction supervision

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience supervising infrastructure works, preferably with LTA projects
• Diploma in civil/structural engineering or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) or equivalent
• Accreditation by JAC of IES/ACES as a Qualified Site Supervisor (QSS)
