Safety Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Implement Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies to ensure a safe working environment
• Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
• Monitor adherence to safety procedures and regulatory requirements on site
• Investigate safety incidents thoroughly and recommend effective corrective actions
• Lead toolbox meetings and safety briefings to communicate safety practices clearly
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess valid Safety Coordinator Certificate
• Demonstrate knowledge of WSH Act and MOM regulations
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with site personnel effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working in the construction industry
