Safety Coordinator (Project Site)

Job Description
Monitor and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations at the project site.

Identify workplace hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe practices, and recommend practical control measures.

Conduct regular site inspections and participate in WSH audits and compliance checks.

Ensure strict implementation of the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for all high-risk activities.

Ensure proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.

Assist in incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including data collection and reporting.

Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of incidents.

Maintain and analyse WSH performance data, site conditions, and safety practices.

Conduct and support emergency preparedness activities, including drills and simulations.

Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in firefighting and rescue operations when required.

Implement the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) during incidents.

Provide safety briefings and explain WSH requirements and safe work procedures to workers and supervisors.

Report all unsafe conditions, non-compliance cases, and incidents to relevant stakeholders promptly.

Liaise with project supervisors, main contractors, and subcontractors for safety coordination on site activities.

Coordinate with relevant authorities and external agencies on workplace safety matters when required.

Continuously review site safety practices and propose improvements to enhance safety standards.

Job Requirement
Minimum 1–3 years of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) working experience in the façade industry

Possess a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator Certificate
