Safety Coordinator (WSHC)

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and unsafe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Management System.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and other safety documentation.
• Monitor workers' compliance with safety requirements and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports and statutory documentation.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and relevant authorities on safety matters.
• Follow up on safety observations and ensure timely rectification of non-conformances.
• Support internal and external safety audits.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or EHS Manager.
