Senior BIM Modeller

Expected Function

• Adhere to corporate BIM standards, methodology and operational procedures, as well as supporting project execution workflow and timeline.
• Develop, prepare and maintain different disciplines / trades quality digital models with detailing and documentations, over different phases in the project lifecycle, including coordination activities with different stakeholders. Ability to perform quality control checks on project digital models with software and assist stakeholders in resolving inconsistencies with the results. Extract information, such as quantities and discrepancies to support other project related activities.
• Conform to timeline assigned for all project-related tasks and ensure timely deliverables, including preparing digital and hardcopy format for distribution.
• Upkeep any administrative requirement by the organisation / department such as Time log and Daily Access Records

Skills and Capabilities

• Good communication and writing skills in English is essential and required. Capability of interacting with other stakeholders is expected including internal site project members.
• Working knowledge of the Site Project team mechanic collaborative framework. Must be conversant in using Autodesk Revit Software on mid-to-large scale projects for at least two disciplines, and capable of reading and understanding typical construction drawings.
• Understanding and utilizing elements of the Singapore VDC framework in the Build Environment.
• Competent in using essential software namely Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (namely Words, Excel and Powerpoint). Other value-added software skills include Naviswork, BIM360, Civil-3D and Microsoft-Teams.

Working Supervision

• Direct reporting and under the guidance of an assigned BIM-Lead. Will be working as member in the BIM-Team and interacting with other project members; secondary reporting with assigned Project Site Technical Team Lead is also expected. Will be assigned to stationed at Project Site. Occasionally working long hours is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working on real projects on Site. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a senior role.
• Preferably a Polytechnic qualification in the Build Environment but candidates with other qualifications and proven experience will be considered.
