• Sembcorp Specialised Construction, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, provides design and build services with an in-house multidisciplinary consultancy. Specialising in building, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects, we deliver innovative and efficient solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry.

Purpose and Scope:

• Lead a team of HSE Coordinators to implement project HSE programs and provide first-line HSE support to project management.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist the HSE Officer in the management and implementation of the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) management system
• Lead HSE Coordinators at project level.
• Conduct inspections to identify any non-compliances in the worksite and raise reports on follow-up actions including monitoring the compliance of such actions
• Coordinate and conduct HSE training programs, campaigns, emergency drills and other HSE related activities.
• Maintain records of HSE documentation (e.g., inspection reports, training records, incident investigation reports, etc.).
• Coordinate independently with subcontractors on compliance to HSE policies.
• Facilitate incident investigation with the project team
• Work closely with project team and provide advice on HSE matters
• Any other ad-hoc matters assigned by Management

Requirements:

• WSQ Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health or Certificate in Safety Coordinator Training Course
• Relevant Safety & Health Certificates, including Lifting Supervisor, Confined Space Assessor, etc.
• Familiar with incident & risk management procedures
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• At least 3 years of HSE experience in built environment
• A responsive good communicator and team player
• Only Singaporeans will be considered due to the sensitive nature of the project.
