Senior Design Engineer

• Lead and oversee the preparation, review, and quality assurance of AutoCAD 2D engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain drafting and BIM standards across projects, providing guidance on design visualization and best practices.
• Supervise and coordinate site surveys, ensuring accurate updates to drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and discipline leads to consolidate drafting requirements and align deliverables with project objectives.
• Mentor and support junior drafters, providing technical direction, training, and performance feedback.
• Manage engineering documentation and administrative processes, ensuring timely submission, version control, and proper filing of drawings and records.
• Drive continuous improvement in drafting workflows, introducing new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Represent the drafting team in project meetings, liaising with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Take ownership of ad-hoc assignments, demonstrating flexibility and leadership in addressing evolving project needs.

Job Requirement

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Bulk Gas / Specialty Gas
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret site blueprint and 2D/3D drawings with detailed understanding
• Strong Communication Skill is required
• Able to start immediately or within a short notice period
• As current project, candidate will be based at Tampines project site for at least 2 years.
• Able to read, speak and write in English and Chinese is required to prepare operational status reports for both local and regional teams.
